Having received her Masters in Nursing from UH Manoa in Hawaii and a Doctorate in Nursing from Columbia University in NYC, Dr. Raquel Has moved to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire to open her private practice. Dr. Raquel began her career managing emergencies and critical care in the hospital setting, specializing in transplant medicine and Immunology. Her experiences underscore her deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit and her commitment to comprehensive patient-focused care.Driven by her lifelong passion for treating from the inside out, Dr. Raquel transitioned into aesthetic medicine in 2018 and further specialized in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, wellness optimization, peptide therapy. Inspired by her own health journey, Dr. Raquel has become the thoughtful, thorough, capable, and attentive provider she once sought for herself. Our Philosophy
In Polynesian Culture, Mana is a concept of a powerful life force. It describes a spiritual energy that is respected and revered. At Mana Medical Center, we aim to heal from the inside out.Our logo is round depicting shark teeth surrounding water. In Hawaii, the teeth of the shark is found in tribal tatoos, worn and adorned on the body and on objects and represents insight, protection, and strength. Sharks are very sacred to Hawaiians, representing guidance and adaptability. The inner circle represents waves of the ocean. Specifically the Pacific Ocean, which holds profound cultural, practical, and spiritual significance to Polynesians. The ocean is a source of sustenance and considered the source of life reflecting great abundance, power and mystery.We thought it fitting for Mana Medical Centers philosophy for integrity, guidance and respect.
